With Red Hat since 2003, Alex Pinchev leads the company's worldwide sales, services, and field marketing organizations. As Executive Vice President and President, Alex drives strategic relationships with global customers and business partners while overseeing geographical and US public sector operations. His business and technology leadership has been instrumental in the company's tremendous international growth and expansion into emerging markets.

During the course of his 25-year career, Alex has built exceptional entrepreneurial and international acumen and has led several successful start-up companies, including MainControl, Inc., where he served as chairman, president, CEO, and founder.

Richard Erickson, Updata Partners

Rich Erickson brings over 25 years of experience in public and private application development, systems integration, and software companies

Rich started his career with one of the TCP/IP Internetnetwork pioneers, Excelan (EXLN-Nasdaq) where he participated in the company's growth, IPO, and ultimate sale to Novell (NOVL-Nasdaq). From 1987 to 1997, as one of the founders of Digital Network Associates, a privately held managed services provider and systems integrator, he guided the company through its growth and sale to United States Office Products (OFIS-Nasdaq).

In 1999, Rich joined iXL Enterprises (IIXL-Nasdaq), one of the leading public Internet Consulting firms as EVP of Operations. Post driving iXL’s merger with it’s public peer Scient (SCNT-Nasdaq), in 2001 he joined Updata Partner’s Portfolio Company, AlphaNet Solutions as President and CEO. Two years after he joined AlphaNet (ALPH-Nasdaq) was successfully exited in a sale to Ciber (CBR-NYSE) in mid 2003. After the successful transition to Ciber, Rich joined Updata Partners in 2004. Rich holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.

Yogesh Gupta, Fatwire
CEO

Yogesh Gupta was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of FatWire Software in August 2007. Yogesh oversees all global operations of the company, including sales, marketing, development, finance and professional services. He also serves on FatWire’s Board of Directors.

A customer focused and visionary technology executive, Yogesh brings over two decades of experience in product development, marketing, strategy, planning and business development to FatWire. Prior to FatWire, he held increasingly responsible senior management roles at CA (NYSE: CA), most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Strategist. His other roles at CA included five years as Chief Technology Officer, SVP of Worldwide Product Marketing, SVP of Strategic Planning, as well as General Manager of CA’s $2 billion distributed product portfolio. In 2004, Yogesh was selected by InfoWorld as one of the 25 most influential CTO’s worldwide. Before CA, Yogesh held technical and management roles at various companies including Cullinet Software and Burroughs Corp.

A recognized expert in emerging technologies and industry trends, Yogesh is a published author and much sought-after speaker who regularly presents to audiences ranging from CIOs to CTOs, to industry analysts, financial investors and the media. He also serves on the boards of multiple industry and academic consortia.

Yogesh holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin

Ed Brandman, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.

Edward Brandman joined KKR as Chief Information Officer in 2007 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a Managing Director in its Advisory Services group, focused on best-in-class technology strategies to support capital markets and trading activities for clients in the financial services and investments industries. He was the founder and CEO of Renaissance Trading Technologies, a technology firm focused on trading solutions for the NYSE/NASDAQ markets, which received investment from and was ultimately acquired by NYSE Euronext. Ed was Chief Information Officer and Head of Electronic Trading at Robertson Stephens as well as a member of its Management Committee. He began his career at JP Morgan & Co. in 1991 and received a B.A. from Rutgers College.

Managing Director

Don More is a Managing Director at Signal Hill Updata and was a Partner at Updata Advisors after joining in 1998. Mr. More leads the firm's IT Security and Internet practices. The 51 Group has recognized Signal Hill Updata multiple times as one of the leading investment banks in IT Security. Mr. More has completed more than 70 transactions with portfolio companies of leading financial investors and with public companies including CA, IBM, Quest Software, Symantec, and Websense.

Mr. More began his investment banking career as an M&A banker at Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, he was a corporate attorney with Davis, Polk & Wardwell and Shearman & Sterling. Mr. More also worked at JP Morgan's corporate office prior to law school.

Mr. More received a J.D. with distinction from Columbia Law School, where he earned the graduation prize for legal advocacy, and a B.A. magna cum laude from Yale University.
